The faculty of science is delighted to announce the undergraduate financial aid programme for outstanding students at the University of Strathclyde for the 2023-2024 academic session. Every academic year, a total of 50 awards are made available for sensational students who wish to pursue an undergraduate degree in the faculty of sciences.
The University of Strathclyde was established in 1796. With over 3,000 staff, the University of Strathclyde is home to over 20,000 students (both undergraduate and postgraduate) from over 100 countries in the world. As an International university, it is committed to research and is ranked as one of the top 20 universities in the UK.
The students have access to the university library as well as the university WiFi and personal student email to aid in their studies. The university also has a state-of-the-art sporting facility and is surrounded by supermarkets, shops, boutiques and restaurants. With over 170 clubs and societies, the students can find something to keep them busy.
A scholarship valued in the range of £2,000 – £5,000 is offered to successful international students by the University of Strathclyde.
Eligibility and Selection Criteria
To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria;
- Students must be starting a new program.
- Applicant must apply for an undergraduate degree course at the University of Strathclyde for the 2020-2021 academic session.
- Applicant must have received an offer to study a degree course in the faculty of science at the university.
- Be self financing students.
- Have outstanding grades till date.
- Applicant must have been assessed as an overseas fee payer.

For obtaining this education award, applicants need to apply for admission in an undergraduate degree as well as receive an “offer of admission” to study at the university. Afterwards, students who meet the requirements will automatically receive this reward. No separate application is needed for this scholarship.
