About 90 full or part time Cumbria bursaries have been made available for the 2023/24 academic session. These bursaries are worth £1,000 per year of full-time study for up to 3 years or £500 per year of part-time study, for a maximum of 5 years.
Eligibility and Selection Criteria at University of Cumbria
To be considered for this bursary, you must meet the following eligibility requirements. You must;
- Be entering your first year of study in an undergraduate degree at the University of Cumbria.
- Have a household income less than £25,000.
- Be studying above 50 credits each year.

There is no separate application needed for the Cumbria bursary. All you have to do is apply for your student funding through your funding body to let them assess your eligibility. It is important you give your consent to share your financial information with your Higher Education Institution.
